Why take private GCSE/A level exam?

A private candidate is someone who enters for exams through an Examination board approved school or college but is not enrolled as a student there. You may be self-taught, home-schooled or have private tuition with a tutor or through a distance learning provider.

As soon as you know what time of year you are sitting for the exam, create a study plan to determine how many hours per week you need to study to reach the average 120 hours required per exam. Sum up 120 hours per subject, and divide that total by the number of weeks you have left until the day of the exam. This way, you’ll know how many weekly hours you need to dedicate to studying.

Woodford Academy offers a one-stop-shop for students preparing for their GCSE and A-Level exams. Our tuition service includes exam registration, scheduling a study plan, and developing exam techniques. Our experienced tutors provide individualized coaching to help students build confidence and achieve the grades they need to succeed in their academic futures.
